Hello there,

I'm interested in getting a wee Eriba 'van for my wife and I to escape in. I'm hoping I can learn a bit more about these vans here. I've never owned a caravan but have done a lot of camping and I am building my own shepherds hut this summer. I've always liked small buildings.
I looked at buying a old caravan a couple of years ago but after looking at several, came to the conclusion that they are mostly built like cheap kitchens. It seemed to me that my purchase would very quickly become a leaky, shoogly highly depreciated shed. I was pleasently suprprised to find that there is still a manufacturer building what seems to be a properly engineered road going structure.
So here's hoping...
Cheers,
Wullie

Wullie,
I'm not sure of the real meaning of "shoogly" but I like the sound of it and will probably use it a lot now. :-)

Eriba caravans are certainly a better design than most (all) others and their price indicates their quality. There are even 25year and older examples still in regular use.

You won't go far wrong with an Eriba.

Fred
