Hi to everyone on the forum!!
We are Ray, Sue and Finley too (our 18 month old wire fox terrier!). We live in the High Peak. We are not yet officially Eriba owners but we are hoping to take possession of our prized new Eriba 540 (from AL) at the beginning of August - a matter of days before we get on the ferry to France ---- ahhhhh, panic!!! Our trip to France was originally booked with the intention of using our T@B 320 however we have succumbed to lure and the romance of the nostalgic retro lines of the Eriba (the wife said we had to get one!). Finley is a little more blasé about the matter as he demonstrated at the Airstream showroom in Cumbria (for future reference they do provide tea, coffee, biscuits....and 'poo' bags!).
That's it for now, just wanted to say hello to you all! We will no doubt be posting questions and queries along the way.
Looking forward to an 'Eribalicious' future!!
Ray and Sue
Welcome to the forum.
It was 1 year yesterday that we had our Puck delivered from A/L.
I remember how excited we were too.
Thanks happy trails to you to matey !!!! Like two excited kids here waiting for Christmas.
Where in Sheffield are you- parents still that way, we are just the other side of Castleton.
Ray and Sue
We are North of Sheffield, Barnsley boarder!
Were at Buxton next weekend.
Blimey, my Mum and Dad are just down the road at Brampton Bierlow!!!
Are you 'Eriba-ing' in Buxton next weekend? Hope the weather holds for you - lovely at the mo!
Ray and Sue
If you fancy a swift half early Sat evening give us a shout, to tell the truth we have not been up close and personal with an Eriba for a couple of weeks, I think Sue is going cold turkey.
>Were at Buxton next weekend
So jealous! Which site are you using? We may try and re-book Cloverfields for our August trip, all being well.
Were at the caravan club site.
I have a Triton (our third Eriba) but am fascinated by the t@b teardrops. What is your opinion on quality etc?
From our experience the quality of build on the T@B is good as you would expect from Knaus Tabbert. However, on the T@B forum we did notice that problems do sometimes occur (cracked door is one example but often this is misuse when closing the door). We personally did not have any issues with ours and really loved it - but Finley (the dog) needed more space!! :-) We did consider moving up to a T@B 400 but their quirkiness and retro design does result in loss of headroom and as a consequence useable floor space. Hence our decision to go for the totally versatile and gorgeous Eriba which we believe is even better quality, more nostalgic and also has an enthusiastic and dedicated cult following.
We just cannot wait for it to arrive!

Enjoy your new van Ray and Sue, if you look after it, its going to last you the next 35 years plus. The Eriba longevity is legendary.......... :-)
Wise choice - We have had 3 Eribas over a period of seventeen years and still love them - especially our Triton 430.
Hi fellow troll trio! The excitement of owning an Eriba never quite goes away, no longer how long you have one! Maybe because we don't get away much I still can't sleep the night before a trip because I'm all a-buzz with a week away in Dolly (I'm sad and I know it) What model have you ordered? (we have the 555)
Hi thanks for your message.
You have earned the right to be as SAD as you want to be, as yet they can't tax you on it. Althou GCHQ may be monitoring you :-(
Sorry forgot to say its a 540 Troll
