Just back from our first mini trip to Norfolk
We found a 10 year old 540GT Troll in Lancaster when looking for a motorhome
Best decision we have made.Really love it.
Everything went well except the awning
A small adjustment dislodged 1 pole which crashed down denting and scratching the pristine paintwork
I was not happy
I have bought some expanding spider hooks to hold things fast next time

Do you have to book a pitch at the Forum Big Meet?

I will try and post a picture

Hi Mike, your picture was too large for the forum. Please reduce the file size and reload it. Yes you do need to book for the forms meet,  give the site a call.

It was under 300k
Is that too big for a photo?
I have reduced its size

You should try and aim below 100k the absolute maximum is 200k. If you want to reload it now you have reduced the size you will have to give the file a new name.  Cheers. :-)

Hello both,  pleased to hear you're happy with the 540 Troll.  I'm currently looking for the same model.  You say you bought it in Lancaster.  Was it from a dealership by any chance or was it a private seller?   It seems there are always plenty for sale when you're not looking then suddenly dry up once you've made the decision to buy one.  Enjoy your caravanning.

I feel for you with your awning mishap. :o
It happens to most of us, in my case it happened to the previous owner and we now suffer the consequences. That's one of the reasons we bought an AL porch awning; as it's free standing there are no loose poles flaying around!
