Wonderful forum full of very useful information for us.  We're on the point of switching from tents to vans, and have set our heart on an Eriba 410.  Just getting to grips with the reality of the UK Eriba market though.

Dom Fox at Eriba Shop is very helpful and sources vans on the continent. Good luck with your search, but be prepared to travel if one comes up.

Thanks so much for all the replies.  We have just ordered a new Triton 420!  Very excited.

We did go to the NEC to look at our short list of the Eriba 410, the Tripbuddy and the T@b.  They are all great vans, but the Eriba ticked all the boxes for us.  Not sure we got a great deal, but managing to find the van we wanted that was already on order for February delivery was too good to miss, plus Automotive Leisure is reasonably convenient for Cornwall.  About as convenient as anywhere is from Cornwall I suppose.

We switched to the 420 along the way after thinking carefully about loos for a bit.  I have been amazed at how well Eribas keep their value and just how much secondhand vans go for.  My lovely dad passed away almost exactly a year ago - he was a great caravanner and my parents used to set off to Greece pretty regularly in their little Sprite I think it was.   I am sure he would very much approve of how we have spent his inheritance.  Not sure we'll get to Greece though!

I am sure he will be with you on all your travels and would have approved of such a purchase.

We were infected by Eriba when we bought a puck from the estate of a neighbour I had known since I was a dwt (tiny). Nurse Jaynne loved Scottie dogs (owned 2 who were as cantankerous as she!) and when we cleaned out the Puck we found two toy scotties. We left one mascot with the van when we went up to a Fmilia but took the other in memory of Nurse Jayne! That little scottie now lives in our Troll and I think of that indomitable lady every time we set up and I pop the scottie in the front window! Perhaps there is something your dad always took away with him in the caravan or is there a little "mascot" that epitomises your father that can live in the van and so he will always be in your minds when you go off in his "legacy" to you?

What a lovely idea.   Thank you for that.
