we need to have a certificate of conformity from the manufacturer? Anybody gone through this process? We live in SW France...
Hi, I'm not sure if you managed to register your Puck, I know this is a late reply, but... I live in France too, I understand that you don't need a certificate of conformity for France, as the Puck is under 550 kilos, so you don't need to register it as you would with a bigger caravan.
UK market caravans have a door the opens on the left - continental on the right, as I am sure that you know, so a UK caravan cannot be registered in France, I was reliably informed,
as the door opens onto the traffic side.
That is all received information, and is to the best of my knowledge, correct. I'm just about to buy a French model Puck, and the owners told me the only important thing to do was tell the insurance company I would be towing an Eriba Puck.
Do let me know what happened.
