I saw, I was smitten, I now need an Eriba

Hi, new to the forum and managed to post in wrong section already. Hopefully got this right now. So I sold the Campervan once I had looked at an Eriba on a campsite recently and what nice people Eriba owners seem to be. I’m now actively looking and hoping to buy soon. I like the Triton 420 but noticed that seems discontinued. Why? Still seem some nice second hand 420 and 430s. Love to hear views on both models also what extras do people see as essential. Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome.

We had a Triton 420. The beds are longitudinal meaning that they are longer as you sleep lengthways. It also has the washroom with toilet.

Great vans.

Eriba caravans last and last. Because of this they hold their value. With that be prepared to pay lots, but you will get this money back when you sell.

We bought our Triton 420 brand new in 2006 from Holland and paid £9300. We sold it in 2018 for £10,500, so it actually appreciated in value!

Thanks for that - yes I’m drawn to the 420, looks a great layout. Going to look at some tomorrow. There is such a variation in the extras different vans come with so tonight I’m going to try and list the essentials. Some look expensive until you consider what they come with and what you may have to buy.
